Winchcombe station in common with a number of former Great Western Railway stations is not actually in the place it carries the name for. Winchcombe station is situated in the village of Greet.

Unfortunately the GWR is not shown on the standard Google maps but select the "SAT" option top right and you will be able to see the line, including seeing it disappear into and reemerging from Greet tunnel to the west of Winchcombe station.
