C&W is based at Winchcombe in the old Goods Shed and its recent extension. You will be responsible for the restoration, repair and maintenance of all passenger and goods rolling stock on the railway providing varied and interesting work for members of this department. All kinds of practical work is undertaken involving carpentry, upholstery, general DIY and electrical. If you are able to offer good experience in any of these areas then you will be made most welcome by a department that attends at weekends and on some weekdays.

Attached to C&W is the Carriage Cleaning Team that give our operational carriages a thorough clean, inside and out, including windows and toilets, thus supporting our good relationship with our travelling public. Works midweek when our timetable permits. Also on a weekly basis our First Line Services Team deals with minor repairs and routine inspections of our operational carriages. A period of experience working in C&W will help.
