Easter on the GWR

Easter Monday 9th April

"The Easter Eggspress"

On Easter Monday, you have the chance to catch the GWR "Easter Eggspress" to Winchcombe.  Climb aboard at Cheltenham Racecourse Station then on your journey have a go at the FREE Easter activity booklet. (Prize for the best completed booklet.) At Winchcombe you will have the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and take part in lots of Easter activities and win more prizes. There will be competitions including egg and spoon races, Easter egg rolling and Easter craft activities. Visit the extensive model railway layouts, browse the plant stall and the bric a brac stall or sample the Easter treats in the Coffeepot Café. 

There will also be a Bouncy Castle (extra cost).

If you want to take part in our EASTER BONNET COMPETITION, make your own Easter bonnet and wear it on your visit to the railway. There will be special prize for the best bonnet on each train.

Don't forget there is FREE PARKING at Cheltenham Racecourse and at Winchcombe but to enjoy all the fun we suggest you join the train at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Normal fares apply to this event but remember ALL children can enjoy FREE TRAIN TRAVEL if they are accompanied by at least one adult or senior citizen.

Why not visit Toddington as well? A classic bus service will operate between Toddington and Winchcombe station throughout the day. (Make sure you have a ticket that covers both stations.)
