Bright yellow AA signs will soon be sprouting on posts around
Cheltenham and Toddington as the 24th Steam & Vintage Fair
comes together at its new home, Cheltenham Racecourse. The
venue is on the field on the north-west side of the Gloucestershire
Warwickshire Railway, which is running a full steam-hauled Red
timetable between Toddington and Cheltenham Racecourse. Late
exhibitor entries are still coming in and there'll be so much going
on, you will need both days to take it all in! It includes the
fascinating and ever-popular steam ploughing in an adjoining field,
and other demonstrations give an idea of how the land was managed
in a bygone age.
If you're coming by car, please follow the AA signs
to the public car parking: entry is via Southam Lane, not through
the main racecourse entrance.
Local Rotary members will be helping with car parking and will
politely ask for a voluntary donation to local charities, and we're
grateful for their help. Or you can park at Toddington and let
the train take the strain!
