The signal and telegraph (S and T) department are working at the North Headshunt area which is located immediately North of Toddington Station. The tracks in this area are being realigned by PWay Dept as part of the preparations for passenger traffic to pass over the viaduct in the direction of Laverton and Broadway. As a result of this realignment a new motorised point unit is being installed.

Further work planned in this area will include modifications to the existing signalling and several new signals will be installed in the next few months
