We're grateful to Stagecoach for their support in providing the service.  We would be grateful for £2 per head to help meet the cost of running the service.

Buses have been designed to connect in and out of both north and southbound CrossCountry services. Connections can however not be guaranteed into and out of trains and the GWR reserves the right to alter suspend any service without prior notice.

Do you think that Stagecoach could be persuaded to delay the departure of their buses from Cheltenham Spa railway station by just five minutes, to allow rail passengers on the 09:07 and 11:02 from Worcester to catch the services due out at 09:30 and 11:30 respectively?

Will the buses be held for late running trains?

Just found out about the track subsidence in "steam railway".Nothing on web-site or with ticket. The bus is a life saver as we will be camping @ the racecourse.

Trust me there is a lot about the slip at Gotherington on the website. It is mentioned on the homepage and in a number of new pieces on the latest news page - http://www.gwsr.com/news/latest-news.aspx

Well done to yourselves and Stagecoach for setting this up. We've had our advance tickets for the event booked a while so were a bit nervous when we heard about the landslip. Thanks for taking the effort to consider the minority (sadly!) who will be arriving by 'the only way to travel'.

As someone who lobbied for the provision of this bus service, I am delighted to see it has been arranged. Thank You. Just one gripe however, although the bus service connects well with Cross Country services I am sure, it doesn't connect well with the Cheltenham to London service. I arrive at Cheltenham station at 10.22, the bus leaves at 10.30 so I do hope the train is on time. I am booked to return from Cheltenham Spa on the 17.00 train on Saturday 5th. The hourly bus is due to arrive outside the station at 17.05. Unless I can be reasonably certain that the bus will arrive at the station 10 minutes early (unlikely on a Saturday), I will have to leave the GWSR at Toddington as early as 15.20 to catch my train at 17.00.

i have to agree with robert, great to have a bus service to and from toddington, but a pity that for a GWR event passengers travelling from stations on the great western line have to leave at 15.20.
