Welcome to the Locomotive Roster. The new season starts on 6th March and it's going to be a busy year, with new locomotives coming on stream and with the GWR175 celebrations taking place.  Scroll down for the Locomotive Roster for the final two days of the season, current status of steam and status diesel locomotives.

Apologies to the gentleman who travelled to Toddington specifically to see 7903 Foremarke Hall on Saturday 13th March - a last-minute change in the roster meant that 5542 was operating that day instead.

Loco Roster

Cheltenham Festival, Tuesday 16th to Friday 19th March
These trains are for pre-booked passengers only (see Latest News). Departs Toddington approx 10.30; on Friday (Gold Cup Day) 10.30 and 10.50. Each train returns to Toddington empty stock for servicing; the empty stock returning to Cheltenham at approximately 15.30.  Departure of the trains from Cheltenham is about 20 minutes after the last race; train 2 on Friday about 40 minutes after the last race.

6960 Raveningham Hall : Hawksworth GWR Modified Hall 4-6-0, overhaul being completed at Willition, West Somerset Railway. Should steam in 2010 but not expected back to the GWR until the beginning of 2011
9642: Collett GWR 0-6-0PT no. 9642 currently off-site for its 10-year overhaul

Cadbury No. 1: Avonside 0-4-0T (1977 of 1925) on static display: this engine hauled first train in April 1984
2807: Churchward GWR 2-8-0 28xx class - locomotive being reassembled at Llangollen, expected to steam April 2010
4270: Churchward GWR 2-8-0T currently being restored off-site
6984 Owsden Hall: Hawksworth BR(W) Modified Hall 4-6-0 currently being restored at Toddington
8274: Stanier 8F class 2-8-0 ex-Turkish State Railways expected to steam 2010.  Boiler has passed hydraulic and steam tests
35006 Penninsular & Oriental SN Co: Bulleid Merchant Navy 4-6-2; locomotive being reassembled at Toddington.  Boiler has passed its hydraulic and steam tests. Expected to be operational in 2011
44027: Fowler 4F class 0-6-0 owned by the National Railway Museum, partly overhauled and to be completed at Toddington. Boiler now out of frames
76077: BR Standard class 4 2-6-0 currently stored awaiting restoration
